The Pokémon Go Fire and Ice Event happens amidst June, and is set to increase the spawn rates of specific types and present new bonuses when out catching Pokémon. Like the last grass event and rock event, trainers will experience increased quantities of Fire and Ice Pokémon, with any semblance of Charmander, Cyndaquil and Lapras refered to, and routes for players to help their XP picks up. Pokémon Go has just announced a Worldwide Bloom Event where grass-type Pokémons will be spawning at an increased rate. Also, to help you catch your grass-types, lures will be extended a full six hours all weekend. Pokemon GO 0.61.0 for Android is now available for download. The company also released Pokemon Go update 1.31.0 for iOS devices. Earlier today, Niantic announced the Pokémon GO Water Festival event! During this event we’ll see increased spawning for certain water-type Pokémon as well as a new avatar item! When The Pokémon GO Water Festival event starts today (March 22, 2017) at 1 P.M. PDT and ends on March 29, 2017, at 1 P.M. PDT. New Avatar item The Magikarp Hat will appear in the style menu later today and is assumed to cost Pokécoins. We’ll post more details on this as they come up. Here is the Niantic's announce: Trainers, Did you know February 27 is Pokémon Day? We’ve teamed up with our friends at The Pokémon Company International for their annual celebration of all things Pokémon, and we have a special treat for you this Pokémon Day! From February 26 at 1:00 P.M. PST to March 6 at 1:00 P.M. PST, special Pikachu appearing all over the world will be celebrating Pokémon Day by wearing festive party hats. These special Pikachu will keep their party hats forever, but they can only be found during this limited-time celebration, so make sure to keep an eye out for them as you explore! The next Pokémon Go nest migration is expected to occur at 7 p.m ET / 4 p.m PT on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 (midnight UTC on Thursday, February 9. 2017). Pokémon Go never announces nest migrations but they've occurred every two weeks at exactly the same time for months. There's always a possibility that will change but, until it does, the nest migration is a safe bet. What should you do to prepare for the next nest migration? Visit your local nests and stock up on the existing spawns while you still can. That includes any you might need to complete your Pokédex, medals, and build up your high-powered Pokémon. From February 26 at 1:00 p.m. PST to March 6 at 1:00 p.m. PST, any Pikachu you encounter in the wild will be wearing a festive party hat!
